Through a mixture of engineering challenges and multimedia building projects, students will develop their understanding of structural design techniques and the core relationship between form and function in both natural and manmade structures. Participants in this class will draw inspiration from some of nature’s finest architects as they create everything from model skyscrapers to woodland shelters in this STEAM-focused class.
