How do you measure the health of a stream? Or a river? In this camp we will 'take the temperature" of our local bodies of water by participating in the Citizen Science Initiative, Creek Critters. Young artists will explore the rivers and streams around Stowe, hunting for signs of life from macroinvertebrates to wading birds. Join us as we sketch, paint, and photograph our finds, share the data with scientists across the nation using the Creek Critters app, and create larger-than-life sculptures of the creatures we find in our waterways.
