Students will create soft, touchable landscapes and animals using weaving and felting techniques. Artists in this class will create two and three-dimensional felted and woven art pieces, perfect for snuggling, gifting, or displaying. As they develop their fiber art skills, students will journey through history to discover wool farming techniques from around the world and identify the rich traditions found in Vermont's own wool industry.
