Learn the art of fused glass in this introductory level course. Students will practice cutting, grinding and assembling fusible colored sheet glass in eye-catching designs, which will be fired in our kilns to create unique works of art. Projects can include small scale dish-ware, such as trinket dishes, spoon rests, stackable side plates and soap dishes. Transparent glass can be used to create suncatchers and tea light holders. Students will also have the opportunity to experiment making fused glass jewelry pieces, including earrings and pendants. Materials included for glass supplies and kiln firing.
