Join us for this two-day workshop in which students will focus on translating the magic of the natural landscape into paintings that capture the light, tone, and feeling of a place and time. Learn how to use color and contrast to infuse your landscapes with an air of brooding mystery or capture the ephemeral delight of sunlight shining through the leaves. Landscape painting is so much more than the act of capturing what you see. Rediscover the world around you through the creation of art. The Current will provide high quality watercolor paints and paper to students participating in this class. Those wishing to continue their practice beyond this two day workshop are highly encouraged to bring their own materials.
