Students in this introductory course will learn the ins and outs of the Ceramic Studio and the foundational principles of building with clay. Focusing on hand-building techniques such as pinching and coiling, students will create functional and sculptural pottery under the guidance of Teaching Artist and Ceramic Studio Manager, Maddy Bertrand-Gerndt.
