Watercolor artist Robert O’Brien AWS NWS will teach students how to paint the human portrait with all of its nuances and subtleties in watercolor using a layering process. Participants will provide and work from a photo reference of a favorite portrait they bring with them or reference photos will be on hand. Robert will demonstrate a finished portrait and then work with individuals on their portrait of choice. A critique and class discussion will be held a the end of the session. The class is open to all abilities though some drawing experience is recommended.
