Explore shape, texture, pattern, and rhythm in this exciting introduction to printmaking! Students in this class will have the opportunity to create prints both by hand and with the printing press, as well as make their own stamps and stickers from found objects and patterns. Through the tactile exploration of materials, students will overlap and combine images and textures to create dynamic multimedia artwork as well as beautiful embossed cards and prints. Perfect for hands-on artists and out-of-the-box thinkers, this class expands the limit of what’s possible and gives students the opportunity to experiment with a variety of art forms and mediums.
