Open to new and experienced ceramic artists, this camp is a week-long intensive in all things clay! Campers who are new to clay will learn a variety of handbuilding techniques, how to center on the wheel, and how to prepare their work for the kiln. Returning campers will hone their wheel throwing skills, experiment with pulling handles, and use a variety of innovative glazing techniques as they take their clay skills to the next level. Throughout this camp, all artists will create functional and sculptural ceramic artwork and gain confidence and expertise in the ceramic studio.
