About the Event
Our winter Currently Speaking series ends with a Poetry Reading, Stories the Earth Tells, on March 12 with 7th and 8th grade students from Stowe Middle School. Selected students will perform a poetry reading incorporating the themes of Water Writes the Garden, including climate change, the interactions of different life systems, and water as storyteller and timekeeper. Their poems were written in their literacy classes as a collaboration with The Current to celebrate the powerful connection between art, science, and civic engagement.
Admission is free and open to all.
