The Current and YoungArts, a national organization that champions artists throughout their lifetimes and across all art forms, are pleased to announce the launch of a new collaborative artist residency program in Vermont.

The program marks a new partnership for YoungArts in Vermont, expanding its nationwide network of cultural partners that provide artists with opportunities to develop their practices and sustain their careers.

Designed to give artists the time, space, and financial support needed to deepen their creative practice, the residency also creates opportunities for connection and artistic exchange within the local community.

Meet the Inaugural Artist in residence:

Interdisciplinary artist Timothy Hyunsoo Lee is currently in residence at The Current, marking the program's inaugural edition.

Lee's practice explores the relationship between bodies, borders, and rituals. Working across representation and abstraction, his work draws on multicultural perspectives and both analog and technological processes.
