Learn techniques in wheel throwing with ceramicist Maddy Bertrand-Gerndt Students will learn about all of the possibilities on a wheel, steps of throwing clay bodies and throwing concepts starting with bowl forms, cylinders, vases, closed neck bottles and forms, etc. Participants will also learn how to trim a thrown piece of pottery as well as hand building details such as a pulled handle on a mug. Materials fee included for clay, glazes and kiln firings.
