Travel the globe without leaving the studio! In this hands-on clay class, young artists will explore incredible architecture from cultures around the world, from including ancient temples and towering castles to colorful domes and modern skyscrapers. Using handbuilding techniques like coiling, slab-building, and sculpting, students will design and build their own clay structures inspired by these global wonders. Come ready to imagine, explore, and build your own architectural masterpieces!
 
Please note: Due to the time necessary for proper drying and firing of ceramic artwork, students should not expect to bring home finished work at the end of the class. All ceramic pieces will be fired and packaged within 2 weeks of the end of class, and students will be notified via email as soon as they are available for pickup.
