Let's make ourselves small and wander through the world of bugs! We’ll observe an amazing variety of insects and examine their shapes, colors, and textures before bringing our discoveries to life through clay sculptures. Using basic handbuilding techniques, you will create unique bug sculptures to take home and maybe even invent your own imaginary creepy crawly creatures!
Please note: Due to the time necessary for proper drying and firing of ceramic artwork, students should not expect to bring home finished work at the end of the class. All ceramic pieces will be fired and packaged within 2 weeks of the end of class, and students will be notified via email as soon as they are available for pickup.
