Campers will explore color, pattern, and resist techniques inspired by batik and textile traditions. Batik is a "resist" process for making designs on fabric by applying warm wax to keep dye from penetrating the cloth. Using wax-like resist methods with layers of dyes, they’ll experiment with bold designs while learning how planning, process, and surprise work together to create vibrant works of art.
