Have you ever imagined creating your own snow village? In this class, we will build clay villages that include snow yurts, snowy mountains, skiers and riders, yetis, and hot chocolate huts. We will focus on developing handbuilding skills, including coil techniques, texturing, and slip-and-score methods, as we learn the art of combining and shaping forms with clay. Enjoy bringing your imagination to life in a final collaborative landscape!
 
Please note: Due to the time necessary for proper drying and firing of ceramic artwork, students should not expect to bring home finished work at the end of the class. All ceramic pieces will be fired and packaged within 2 weeks of the end of class, and students will be notified via email as soon as they are available for pickup.
