As a mixed-level class this is the perfect opportunity for beginners to learn to center, throw, and trim their own cups, bowls, and mugs. Experienced students will practice pulling handles and throwing more challenging forms such as plates and vases. Towards the end of the session, students will learn about the glazing process and will be able to glaze their own work. Instruction is not limited to wheel throwing but may include guidance in hand building and surface design, as requested. All levels, including absolute beginners, are warmly welcomed.
 
Included in class fee:
Access to the ceramic studio during Open Studio hours, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, 9am - 2pm.
One 25lb bag of new clay (additional bags can be purchased at $30 + tax).
