Aspiring engineers and craftspeople rejoice! Students in this class will learn the fundamental skills needed to work with wood. In addition to safely mastering the tools of the woodshop, students will learn to identify and utilize properties of different types of wood such as grain, density and flexibility. Using the engineering design process, students will design, plan, and create their own woodworking projects throughout the course of this class.
