Our young artists have big ideas that merit BIG paintings! Join painter and muralist Shannon O'Connell to create larger-than-life works of art in this vibrant class. Through an exploration of both classical painting techniques and the skills and styles of graffiti artists, participants in this course will discover how artists from all walks of life use public art to share their message with the world. Students will work on independent and collaborative projects throughout the course as they brainstorm ideas for big paintings, visit murals and public art found in Stowe, and learn the secrets of painting on a large scale.
