In this delightful week-long camp, aspiring sculptors and artists will delve into the world of three-dimensional creativity, crafting their very own menagerie of clay critters. Campers will explore various sculpting techniques, such as slab- and coil-building, to create not only their critters but also homes and habitats for each clay creation. A professional Teaching Artist will guide participants through the process, helping them experiment with textures, forms, and details. This camp combines parallel and collaborative play, allowing students to engage at their own pace as they create both their own individual works as well as a class ecosystem designed for all their creatures. 

Please note: Due to the time necessary for proper drying and firing of ceramic artwork, campers should not expect to bring home finished work at the end of the week. All ceramic pieces will be fired and packaged within 2 weeks following the end of camp, and families will be notified via email as soon as they are available for pickup.

For Individual-level memberships, the discount may only be used towards the cost of tuition for the adult membership holder.
