Explore the science and symbolism of weather in the world around us and in famous pieces of art throughout history. We’ll create our own stormy seascapes, investigate Walter de Maria’s lightning field, create our own weather journals and forecasts, and discover the science behind some of the world’s most dramatic weather events. From cloud stuffies to large-scale weather paintings, this multimedia class gives students the opportunity to learn about the world around them in an interactive and exploratory setting.
