Explore the decorative elements of ceramics in this mixed-level class. New students will learn a variety of handbuilding techniques including slab and coil building. Returning students will hone their building skills and create intricate carvings and designs using a variety of hand tools. All students will explore additive and subtractive building techniques to create low-relief sculptural portraits and landscapes.
