Students will work with teaching artist Megan Karcher to create soft, touchable landscapes and animals using weaving and felting techniques. Artists in this class will create two and three dimensional felted and woven art pieces, perfect for snuggling, gifting or displaying. As they develop their fiber art skills, students will journey through history and around the world as they discover the history of wool farming around the world and the rich traditions of Vermont's own wool industry.
