Students in this class will dive deep into the rich geometric patterns and bold colors of the Art Deco Movement. They will create their own decorative tiles in glass and clay using the work of artists such as Sonia Delaunay and A. M. Cassandre as guides. In addition, students will explore the influence of Ancient Egyptian Art on the Art Deco movement and will create their own low-relief carvings using the stone carvings of Ancient Egyptians as a guide.
